DOUBLE BILL MOVIE APP

I’m a massive cinephile. I love movies—the good, the bad, and everything in between. One of my favorite quirks is pairing films to create the perfect double feature, or “double bill.” That habit sparked an idea: what if there were an app that helped other movie lovers find those connections?

I wanted to go beyond matching genres and explore the deeper threads that connect films: themes, plots, characters, tropes, and unexpected parallels. Along the way, it could help people discover movies they might never have heard of—or see familiar favorites in a new light.

After spending time refining the concept and user experience, I built a working app while teaching myself the basics of “vibe coding.” It’s still a prototype, and I’m continuing to work out the bugs, but my goal is to eventually bring it to the Apple App Store for everyone to enjoy.

In the meantime, click the link below, give it a spin, and build your ultimate double-feature movie night.
